The success of many last years developing players for US Youth National Teams and the Men's National Team made Dr. Josef Schulz even more hungry to continue this trend.

"I know that there are many unnoticed, unchallenged talents out there. We just need to give them the opportunities", states Dr. Schulz.

Tom Power, founder of the Florida Soccer Academy, based on the Treasure Coast, has similar visions and confidence. He also believes there are athletes in the Treasure Coast area not receiving the necessary physical and mental high level of training needed to reach the next level. 

Through their mutual business and soccer respect of each other, Dr. Josef Schulz and Tom Power closed this gap by forming an alliance, the Schulz Academy Treasure Coast.

Florida Soccer Academy and Schulz Academy will work in the future close together to give players in this area also the chance to play High Level Tournaments, Super Y League, Champions Cup, National Cup, and the Development Academy League of the US Soccer Federation.

"We both are very excited, because we really believe there is a lot of talent in the Treasure Coast area. Special Tryouts will be held soon to have a look at the talented players in the age from 9-20 for boys and girls. We will offer special camps, clinics, and trainings sessions to improve the level of these players so they can play on the different Schulz Academy teams in High Level competitions, only Schulz Academy is allowed to participate like Champions Cup, Development Academy League, Super Y League etc.", says Tom Power, founder of the Florida Soccer Alliance.

Schulz Academy Treasure Coast will work in a way, where it really doesn't matter if the player comes to Boca, the base of Schulz Academy, to a training or practices with the coaching staff in the North. The training will be first class, as players were used in Boca. This alliance not only helps the local players in the Treasure Coast area to improve, it also will enlarge the player pool for the already very successful Schulz Academy teams.

"All our players now playing in different US National Teams and players with scholarships at colleges were scouted at High Level Tournaments or games, like Super Y League, Champions Cup or Development Academy League games. Nobody scouts at local games, local leagues or High School games anymore. These times are over. And with this new venture we want to give more players the chance to show their talent at these big events. We are aware that first we need to increase the level of these players, but we are very confident, that it's only a matter of a short period of time to do this, continues Dr. Schulz.
