BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan 20 - Schulz Academy soccer club announced today that ten of its players have been chosen for the United States ODP National Selection of the Super Y League -- fielding the highest number of players from a single club this year. "After three highly competitive days of the Super Y League National ODP camp for the age groups U13, U14 and U15, we believe we established ourselves as the top club for soccer talent development in the country with a total of 10 players being chosen in the National Selection," said Dr. Josef Schulz, Director of Coaching of the Schulz Academy.

"We had a total of 10 players in the three All-Star games in the U13, U14 and U15 age groups, which pit the best players in the country against each other. At the end of the camp, the National Team Coaches and the top college coaches of the country were present for an All-Star Game when the best 22 players of the country in each age group played against each other," Dr. Schulz continued.

The Schulz Academy players selected for the ODP National Select Teams are:

U13: Sam Tover, Donovan Henry, Nico Olsak
U14: Shawn Barry, Laine Kelly, Edvin Worley, Joe Borick
U15: Karol Chorak, Nathaniel Jocelyn, Jonathan Hohn

Schulz Academy soccer player Josmer Altidore is already in the Residency Program of the US Soccer Federation.

"It makes us extremely proud to see how our players performed at the highest level of youth soccer in America. They had to play 8 games in 3 days under the watchful eyes of National Team coaches. There was no hiding there, and only the best of the best, physically, mentally, tactically and technically, survived," Dr Schulz said.

"This event showed that the future for soccer in this country is bright. It was a pleasure to see so many great players from all over the country fight for the top spot in their position in each age group."

The Academy's Travel Club, which participates in Florida leagues, tournaments and the State Cup, is ranked first in Florida in U13 and U14, second in U15, and fourth in U16 age groups.
