The U13 boys won 4-2 behind goals from Sekani Sinclair (2), Mauro Bondi and Conner Rezende. Schulz Academy controlled the tempo of the game from the start establishing a comfortable 4-0 lead after only 20 minutes into the first half. The Ajax team did not quit however as the fought their way back into contention with two goals. The Schulz U13 boys proved too much overcome as they calmly regained control of the game and nailed down the 4-2 victory.
I was very impressed with our first 20 minutes, where we were leading already 4-0. Ajax showed tremendous heart and pulled back 2 goals, but we always had control of the game. says Dr. Schulz, Head Coach of the Academy.
The U15 boys, confident off their recent win at the US Club Soccer Club Championships, faced off against Ajax in the next fixture. Hasani Sinclair scored twice, and Francisco Pelicon scored once to provide Schulz Academy with an impressive 3-0 victory.
In a hard fought U16 game, the defending National Champions, Schulz Academy, had a tough time finding the back of the net. Ajax of Orlando proved to be a very strong defensive unit, and despite some great scoring opportunities for the Schulz Academy team, at the end both coaches were happy with the draw.
It was one of these games, where you also could have lost with a counter attack goal, although dominating a big part of the game. We are still confident that we will end up on top of our group, being aware though, that every single point now counts. stated Heinz Olischar, Manager of the Schulz Academy U16 boys team.
Goals from Andre Mittoo, Nathaniel Jocelyn, Gabriel Hoyos, and Juan Rivera provided a convincing 4-0 victory for Schulz Academy vs. Ajax Orlando in the U17 boys division.
It was a very good start for our team in this new season. This victory gives us a lot of confidence for the next games, and showed that we are ready. said Tony March, Coach of the U17 Schulz Academy team.
We knew the first game in each age group was important, and we achieved what we were hoping for. says Marcello Serrato, president of the academy.
The next games of the Schulz Academy are on May 21 vs. Weston at Vista Park. The Schulz Academy U14 boys, U13 girls and U14 girls will also debut on May 21 vs. Weston.
