Club Reaches New High On Capturing League Championship
Schulz Academy captures 2004 Super Y-League North American Champions title
Boca Raton, FL -- In Boca Raton, Florida a proud celebration was held to honor the U14 Boys team (pictured) that captured the title at the 2004 Super Y-League North American Finals in Orlando last month.

Dr. Josef Schulz, founder of Schulz Academy, commented about the achievement and the overall experience of the event.  "The unique experience and education that competition at such a high level provides in head-to-head action could only be possible with the quality of administration that the Super Y-League has fostered."

"I am also very proud of our boys for representing Florida so well in this tournament against the best teams in the country," said Schulz. "This was the ideal opportunity for competitive players to play soccer on a higher level than club or high school soccer, and to make the transition to the high speed and intensity of the modern game."

In the U13 Boys division, Schulz Academy defeated some of the top American teams before suffering a 2-0 loss in the final against Canada's Vancouver Whitecaps.

Dr. Schulz added. "By combining the best players within an area and playing against the best players of other states we are well on the way to developing our players to their fullest potential."

That potential was again demonstrated earlier this year when two players from the Schulz Academy, Josmer Altidore and Mat Luzunaris, were invited to join the training camp of the U.S. U15 National Team.

The club will conduct tryouts December 28-30 and January 4-6 at Sandalfoot Park in Boca Raton at 7:00pm.
