Schulz Academy Ranked No. 1
TAMPA, FL (October 25,2007) – United Soccer Leagues announced today the preliminary Super Y-League First and Second 11 Club rankings for the 2007 season, recognizing the league’s top competitive and administrative clubs. The release of the list precedes the upcoming SYL North American Finals, where 21 of the clubs in the rankings will be competing for the 10 championships up for grabs November 16-20.
Schulz Academy is ranked
Number 1 overall in the state of Florida (the SYL Southeast Division is made up of 12 Florida clubs). Schulz Academy is ranked Number 7 overall for boys in North America, and Number 7 overall as a club for boys and girls in the U.S. and Canada combined. No other Florida club is ranked in the First 11 for Boys or Girls. Schulz Academy improved from their overall ranking in 2006 which had them as the Number 8 ranked club in North America. In 2007, Schulz Academy has qualified 4 teams to the Super Y-League North American Finals. This after qualifying 5 teams in 2006. (The Schulz Academy Super-20 Mens team also qualified for the USL Super-20 North American Finals in 2007).
