JOZY GIVES HIMSELF A BIRTHDAY PRESENT

Only 3 days before his 19th birthday, Josmer Altidore, who played 8 years for Schulz Academy in Florida, scored his first goal for Villarreal in Spain’s "La Liga". He came in in the 90th minute, and scored in the 90th minute the 4th goal in the 4-1 away win at Athletico Bilbao, which secured Villarreal second place in the table just one point behind Barcelona, and one point ahead of Real Madrid, which is sitting in 3rd place.

"It was just a matter of time, till he scored his first goal in this prestigious League. For his age he accomplished already a lot. Top Scorer at the U20 World Cup, member of the Men’s National Team with 2 goals already, Young Athlete of the year in USA, youngest player in history in the USA who ever scored a goal in the MLS in the play offs (16 years old) , highest transfer in USA soccer history for 10 Mio US $ to Villarreal, first goal for Villarreal in "La Liga". He is on time with all his goals he had when he was 8 years old. When I talked to him about all his dreams, he was so convincing that I was sure it will happen. I even went a little further when I spoke with him over the years. I told him he will be one of the stars at the World Cup 1010 in South Africa, and he will make a mega transfer to one of the big clubs in World Soccer after the World Cup. Definitely he is right on track with his goals", says Dr. Schulz, his coach for 8 years at Schulz Academy.
