Donish Cole Selected To U14 Girls' National Team
U.S. U-14 Girls' National Team to Hold Camp at the Home Depot Center
BOCA RATON, FL (August 20, 2009) - Schulz Academy player Donish Cole has been selected to participate in the U.S. Under-14 Girls’ National Team training camp. The U.S. Under-14 Girls’ National Team will hold its only training camp of the year from Aug. 23-30 at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. All of the players in this U-14 GNT event recently competed at the 101-player U.S. U-14 Girls’ National Team I.D. Camp in Pomona, Calif. For this week, U.S. National Staff Coach Mike Dickey brings 36 players (with one player still to be selected) to The HDC for a week of training and games against local club sides. All of the 36 players were born in 1995 and are looking towards competing in the 2012 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup. Congratulations to Donish and good luck at National Camp!

Strong Showing At ODP For Schulz Academy Girls
Donish Cole, Sarah Coy and TCP to U.S. Soccer U14 National Identification Camp Tina, Yulie, Paulina, Sidney, Jackie, Hannah all make Region III Pool
BOCA RATON, FL - July 16, 2009 - A total of 22 girls who currently play in the Super Y-League for Schulz Academy travelled to Alabama for Regional ODP trails. This is more than triple the number of girls from last year. A total of 9 girls made the Region III Pool in their respective age groups while 3 girls – Donish Cole, Sarah Coy and Taylor Campbell-Phipps – were invited to attend U.S. Soccer’s U14 National Identification Camp in Pomona, California. Congratulations to all the players who were invited and who participated in Regional ODP events in July 2009 and good luck to Donish and Taylor at the U14 National Identification Camp in California.
Schulz Academy Girls Kick-Off 2009 Super Y-League Campaign With 6 Wins and 1 Tie
Defending Southeast Division Champions U14 Girls start the season with 3 straight wins
BOCA RATON, FL (Friday, June 12, 2009) – Schulz Academy Girls began the 2009 Super Y-League season with 6 wins and a tie in their first seven games. The U15s defeated Sunrise 10-1 and later downed Plantation FC 4-2. The U14s won 2-0, 3-0, and 6-1 over Sunrise, Kendall, and Mako Sharks respectively to start the defense of their Southeast Division championship. While the U13s beat Florida Rush 3-1 and tied Plantation FC 1-1.

Schulz Academy Girls Make USL SYL ODP National Select Team
Kristina Shakes, Donish Cole and Sarah Coy selected to SYL ODP '94/'95 Select Team
BOCA RATON, FL (Monday, February 23, 2009) - United Soccer Leagues’ 2009 Super Y-League ODP National Camp for Girls born ’92, ’93, ’94 and ’95 concluded on Sunday, February 22, at Ed Radice Sports Complex in northwest Tampa, Florida. The final day of the event consisted of one final match, the SYL ODP National Camp All-Star game for each of the three age divisions. Schulz Academy’s Kristina Shakes (’94), Donish Cole (’95) and Sarah Coy (’95) were selected to the ODP National Girls ’94/’95 Select Team. Schulz Academy is the only club to place three players on the ’94/’95 ODP Select Team this year and the Academy led all Florida clubs with 3 National ODP Selections validating the quality of the very young Girls’ program.
14 Schulz Academy Girls Get SYL ODP Recognition
TAMPA — United Soccer Leagues announced on October 16th the final player selections for the 2009 Super Y-League’s ODP National Camps to be held at Ed Radice Sports Complex in Tampa, Florida. 14 Girls from Schulz Academy made the ODP selection (with 4 alternates) and the list includes Hannah Coy (born 1996) the youngest girl in North America to gain selection. This adds to the success of the young girls program that produced the U13 SYL Southeast Champions and saw 7 girls selected to attend US Club Soccer’s Regional id2 Camps, 3 attended the 2008 U.S. Soccer U14 Girls National Identification Camp, and 1 (Yulie Lopez) was selected to the U.S. U14 Girls National Team.
Seven Schulz Academy Girls Invited To id2 Regional Camp
BOCA RATON, FL (September 29, 2008) - Seven girls from Schulz Academy were invited to attend the 2008 id2 Regional Training Camps. Congratulations go out to Kristina Shakes (94), Paulina Speckmaier (94), Sidney Morales-Parodie (94), Sarah Coy (95), and Donish Cole (95) who were all invited to attend the id2 Texas Regional Camp from November 13-16. Also to be congratulated are Elizabeth Caputo (95), and Brianna Raaf (95) who were invited to attend the id2 New Jersey Regional Training Camp from October 2-5. In addition, congratulations to Nicole Harris (95, West Pines), who has guest played on occassion with Schulz Academy, as she has also been invited to attend the id2 Texas Regional Camp.

Schulz Academy Girls to Attend U14G National Identification Camp
After successful trials at State ODP and Regional ODP camps 3 of our U14 Girls (‘94s) are moving on to the U14 Girls National Identification Camp in Pomona, California from July 27th to August 2nd. Kristina Shakes, Yulie Lopez, and Paulina Speckmaier are members of the Schulz Academy U14 Girls team who earned an invite to the identification camp that brings together 100 of the best girls born 1994. Schulz Academy is the only Florida club to send 3 players to the U14G National Identification Camp!

We are so proud how the team performed at this national event. The deciding group game vs. CASL, which we won 1-0, was played physically, technically, and tactically on a very high level. We had to win the game in order to advance to the semi finals, and the girls executed this game brilliantly!
Schulz Academy U13 Girls Win SYL Southeast Division
Girls are now headed to the Super Y-League North American Finals
BOCA RATON, FL (August 26, 2008) – Schulz Academy U13 Girls booked their place in the Super Y-League North American Finals this past weekend after wins over Plantation Eagles and West Pines United. The U13 Girls posted a 13-1-0 record to win the Southeast Division by at least 6 clear points. This is the second straight year that Schulz Academy has qualified a girls’ team to the SYL North American Finals which will take place from November 20-25 in Tampa, the home of the Super Y-League organization’s headquarters.
Schulz Academy U13 Girls Takes Over 1st Place
BOCA RATON, FL (August 18, 2008) – It may not have been the biggest goal of the season but it was as enjoyable as any for the Schulz Academy U13 Girls. Dominique Cole (’97), the youngest member of the Schulz Academy U13 squad, scored a coach’s delight when she came on as a substitute in a 0-0 game to crash the net and score what would proved to be the game winner over Weston SC. The goal was her 6th of the season and was set up by her big sister Donish Cole (’95). Dominique later returned the favor when she found her big sister Donish who hit an 18-yard left foot curler to give Schulz Academy a 2-0 win. The shutout was number 7 for goalkeeper Cheyenne Walker (’94) and Schulz Academy U13 Girls now hold sole possession of 1st place in the Super Y-League Southeast division.
Great First Season In SYL For Schulz Academy U14 Girls
BOCA RATON, FL (August 18, 2008) – Schulz Academy U14 Girls finished the Super Y-League season with 10 straight wins to earn 2nd place in the SYL Southeast division with a 10-1-1 record. Despite an impressive run of 10 consecutive wins, the Schulz Academy U14 Girls will miss out on an automatic bid to attend the Super Y-League 2008 North American Finals. The U14 Girls closed out the weekend with wins over West Pines United and FC Sarasota. U14 Region III ODP Select team standouts Paulina Speckmaier (’94) and Kristina Shakes (’94) would tally goals in their final regular season games to cap off an impressive summer that saw both girls get invited to the U.S. U14 Girls National Identification Camp. The team also featured Yulie Lopez (’94) who is away this week at the Nike Friendlies in California representing the U.S. U14 Girls National Team.

BOCA RATON, FL (August 12, 2008) –Schulz Academy took one step closer to qualifying two Girls’ teams to the USL Super Y-League North American Finals with key wins over the weekend. Paulina Speckmaier (’94)scored 5 goals and 1 assist in two games to help the U14 girls gain first place in the Southeast Division. Meanwhile, Donish Cole (’95) scored 3 goals and 2 assists to lead the U13 girls to level points atop their Divison with just 3 games remaining. Both the U13 and U14 Girls Southeast Divisions are tightly contested and will come down to the final week of competition before a Division winner is decided.
Mixed results in a goal-rich weekend for Schulz Academy Girls
BOCA RATON, FL (August 4, 2008) – Schulz Academy U13 and U14 girls captured full points during Week 22 of the Super Y-League with 5 wins but saw their older counterparts, the U15 and U17 girls, manage to earn just one point between them. This year is the first time Schulz Academy has fielded more than one girls’ team in the Super Y-League. However two out of the four teams are still mathematically alive for qualification to the North American Finals. Sidney Morales-Parodie (’94) scored 10 goals and had 5 assist during Week 22. While her strike partner Donish Cole (’95) scored 9 goals and 8 assists over the same stretch.

BOCA RATON, FL (June 16, 2008) – Schulz Academy girls went perfect on the weekend with three wins against Super Y-League Southeast Division opponents. The games marked the halfway point for the U13 and U14 girls in their regular season campaign. Both teams sit atop the Southeast Division for their respective age groups. Some notable stories coming out of this weekend’s games for the Schulz Academy girls: Yulie Lopez (’94) scored 5 goals in one game and has 10 goals overall for Schulz after just 3 appearances. Kristina Shakes (’94) scored in her 5th consecutive game and has a U14 team high 6 goals tied with Yulie Lopez. Donish Cole (’95) scored in 6 straight games and has 10 goals overall. Jacquelyn Kinni (’94), who normally plays center defense, has 8 goals just one behind Donish Cole who has a U13 team high 9 goals. Arielle Gonzales (’93) is the U14 assist leader with 6 while Liz Caputo (’95) leads the U13s also with 6 assists. Paulina Speckmaier (’94) has either scored or assisted in every appearance she has made thus far for Schulz. Also, goalkeeper Cheyenne Walker (’94) leads the U13 Girls Southeast Division with 4 shutouts to her credit.

Schulz Academy Girls SYL Week 14 Report
BOCA RATON, FL (June 10, 2008) – Three Schulz Academy Girls teams were in action this past weekend as week 14 of the 2008 USL Super Y-League kicked off around the State of Florida. Schulz Academy U13 girls lead by Yulie Lopez (’94), who had a 4-goal performance, earned 6 points with wins over RSL Florida (9-2) and Miami Strike Force (3-0). Kristina Shakes (’94) scored in her 4th straight game as the Schulz Academy U14 girls picked up 4 vital points after a 1-1 tie with RSL and a 4-0 win over Plantation Eagles. Meanwhile, the U15 Girls fell to RSL Florida 2-1.
Schulz Academy Opens 2008 Super Y-League Campaign

BOCA RATON, FL (June 3, 2008) - Schulz Academy got it’s 2008 USL Super Y-League campaign off and running with both its U13 Girls and U14 Girls in action at Magic Jack Park in West Palm Beach this past weekend. Both teams experienced mixed results over the weekend but remain confident in their quest for a bid to SYL Nationals as the season is still very young. The U13 Girls dropped their opener to West Pines United 1-3, but then bounced back against Sunrise SC 5-0. The U14s also dropped their opener to Kendall Soccer 0-2 and returned the following day to tie Sunrise SC 1-1.
