Q: How long is the minimum amount of time I have to commit for?
A: One month is the minimum amount of time, but we recommend at least 2 months to have enough time to work on things properly and ideally 5-6 months to have enough time for a lifechanging impact, where we can bring your fitness to a professional level at the beginning and use the remaining time for tactical and technical improvements.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The monthly costs are always $2,900, no matter what month of the year.
Q: Can I study or work as well while I am in the boarding program?
A: Yes, you can study or work while you are with us. Our schedule allows enough time during the week to work part-time or to study for high school or college and even to attend classes. We recommend online education and can assist you to set it up, both for college and high school. We train 7 times a week on the field, have 3 times gym and a game on the weekend, but you will still have Wednesday and Saturday off and on the other days you have time between 1pm and 5:30pm to study/work.
Q: How can I make sure I get a spot in the program?
A: With a down payment of $1,000 you secure your spot in the academy, no matter when your start date is. We want to keep the level of learning high and therefore we only allow a limited amount of players in the program at one time. Everybody gets trained and coached by Dr. Schulz himself.
Q: Where is the academy at and do you have boarding programs in other parts of the country?
A: We are situated in sunny Boca Raton, Florida, with training facilities in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale. Boca Raton is one of the most exclusive places to live in the world, with a high standard of living and in a very safe environment. We don’t offer our program anywhere else in the world and the infrastructure and the conditions here are unique.
Q: What is your success rate in developing professional players or college Div I players?
A: Our track-record of developing players both for the professional level and for the highest college level is the best there is. Schulz Academy alumni include Jeff Cunningham and Jozy Altidore, who spent all his youth soccer from the age of 8 to 16 with us and is the record transfer of any American player ever when he moved for $10 Mio to CF Villareal, Spain. In college, there are currently more than 30 players in Div I and II colleges, most of them on full or partial scholarships. Many of them go to Florida Athlantic University (FAU) or other great programs in Florida such as FIU, USF, Barry, but also to colleges in other parts of the country like Boston College or Northern Virginia, where Schulz Academy player Shawn Barry won the college title in 2009 (he now plays in the Austrian first division club LASK Linz).
