Schulz Academy and i9SPORTS are proud to announce a partnership in developing young soccer players
One of the top 5 youth soccer clubs in the country, Schulz Academy and one of the biggest sports provider for young athletes in the US, i9SPORTS are announcing a partnership to improve the development of their soccer program.
Schulz Academy will provide their expertise in training methods and programs to the coaches and players of i9SPORTS. i9SPORTS on the other hand will provide a big number of young players who want to make the next step from recreation soccer, through travel soccer, to the highest end of youth soccer in America, the Super Y League, and the Academy Developmental League.
Robert Cannova, Executive Director of i9SPORTS says: "This is a great opportunity not only for us as a sports provider, but especially for our young players and coaches to learn from the best. Schulz Academy is known as one of the best addresses in the development of young soccer players and just last week, one of his first soccer students, Josmer "Jozy" Altidore, signed the biggest contract an American ever signed in the history of soccer".
As reported in the international and national media Josmer Altidore, who played for over 8 years for Schulz Academy, starting when he was 8 years old, was tranferred last week for 10 Mio Dollars to Vilareal of Spain’s top league "La Liga".
"Not everybody can be a Josmer Altidore in the future, but what we can almost guarantee is, that each player we choose and invite from the i9SPORTS program to join our Academy and goes through our system, especially at the highest end, the Academy League, has a big chance to get a soccer scholarship in one of the top universities in the country. Our goal in this partnership is to improve the training and general environment of recreation soccer to give the players a better chance to excel in this sport later on", states Dr. Josef Schulz, founder and president of Schulz Academy.
Schulz Academy coaches will hold seminars for the coaches of i9SPORTS to improve their training sessions, and will also provide special camps for the most talented players of the program. Tryouts for this exciting new venture will be announced soon.
Yearly almost 7000 young athletes are part of the i9SPORTS program in Palm Beach County, and more than 100,000 young athletes nationwide. The ages are from 3 - 16 boys and girls.
