Fort Lauderdale is looking for the next Jozy Altidore at PDL-tryouts
Ft. Lauderdale S.A.-Scouts sharpen their eyes and pencils to spot the next big star to come
The waiting is over, the tryout dates are out and players from all over the country will make their way to the four tryouts for the Fort Lauderdale Schulz Academy PDL-Team of 2010. The team will be highly competitive and only players who are seriously pursuing a career in soccer will be considered. A lot of strong players will join from Brazil directly, who will bring a lot of talent and even more hunger for achievement on a professional level, an attitude that will be contagious to the rest of the team. "The standards to be chosen for one of the spots for this team will be extremely high. We need to see that either now or in the near future the players have what it takes to become pros.", says Josef Schulz, President of Fort Lauderdale Schulz Academy.
These are the tryout dates:
1. Sat, 6 March 2010, 12:30-2:30pm (field 1)
2. Sat, 3 April 2010, 4-6pm (field 3)
3. Mon, 5 April 2010, 4-6pm (field 3)
4. Sat, 17 April 2010, 4-6pm (field 4)
All tryouts are at Central Broward Regional Park in Fort Lauderdale, on Sunrise and US-441.

In addition there will also be the first try outs for the newly formed Super Y League "Ft. Lauderdale Schulz Academy PDL" franchise for ages U13 - U17 boys and girls.
These teams, especially on the boys side, will be the beginning of the new Elite Program the Schulz Academy is launching together with the West Ham United International Academy.
