West Ham United International Academy, the international arm of the London-based EPL-club West Ham United, is holding its first ID Camp in South Florida together with its exclusive Florida-partner Coerver-Schulz Academy at Palm City this month.  The 3-day camp will take place in Palm City and will be full of drills and exercises that are standard practice for the West Ham Academy in London.  This will help the participants to improve their game and the West Ham coaches will be able to see who has what it takes to go to the next level.  The hottest prospects of the camp in Palm City will be invited to participate at the national camp in Northern Virginia, which takes place on July 21-24 2010.

Six players from the current full England national team are graduates of the West Ham United Academy. The West Ham United International Academy has been established to identify players who may one day be good enough to play in the English Premier League - Will you “Be The One?”

The camp is open to boys and girls aged 8-18 and will be overseen by a senior member of the West Ham United International Academy coaching staff. The camp will consist of coaching methods and drills from the West Ham United Academy, with each player receiving a West Ham United International Academy t-shirt. Players excelling at this camp will be invited to the West Ham United International Academy National Residential Camp in Northern Virginia between July 21st - 24th, 2010, staffed by the Academy coaches from the West Ham United Academy in London and directed by Academy Director Tony Carr with West Ham United Ladies Head Coach Tony Marshall. Players excelling there will be invited to London for a 10 day West Ham United Academy experience.
