“I am very happy for them to get a chance like this. LASK has a lot of tradition in Austria, and won already the Championship before. Shawn and Will have to work themselves up the ranks though, but I am sure especially Shawn will knock on the door of the first team soon. His speed and athletic ability is extraordinary, even on this level. Will’s situation is different, because he is only 16. He is given time to develop, but I think in 2 years he also could be already an option for the first team”, says Dr. Josef Schulz, founder of the Schulz Academy.

Toni Polster, one of the most famous players Austrian soccer ever produced and coach of both players at LASK mentioned in an interview: “That he is pleased with the progress of both players, and Shawn Barry’s performances in the pre-season games, especially at the end was impressive”.

Shawn and William like the club and the professional way both are treated. “It’s always a great atmosphere at the training sessions, and the players are fully motivated. Everybody wants to make the step to the first team, and the intensity in the practices is very high. Our coach has a lot of international experience, which helps all the players to improve quickly. The people are very friendly, and we really like it here” both players state.
