While Christian “Bopu” Koulouvaris already signed a contract with FC Hard in Austria’s 3rd Division,
Aly Hassan still is trying in pre-season games to get a contract with Hungary’s Ferencvaros (1st Division).
After a 2 week trial with one of Hungary’s most traditional clubs, Ferencvaros, the coach of the team was so impressed to invite him to the pre-season camp to Croatia, where Aly continued to impress the coaching staff.
“In the next few days the new president will decide if they will give me a contract or not”, says Aly Hassan.
Aly was preparing himself at the Schulz Academy for the trial with Ferencvaros.
“Christian Koulouvaris was already in summer in Austria trying out for 3rd division club FC Hard, Regionalliga West. He convinced them already then and as it looks right now he will in the starting position for the first game vs. Red Bull Salzburg in March.
“He started all pre-season games and plays and practices very well. He gives the team in the central midfield a good balance between offense and defense. We are happy that he joined us”, states Joerg Stadelmann, captain of the Austrian Team.
“Christian also prepared himself for his professional career at our Academy, and you could already see, that especially the last year he became very consistent in his role as defensive, holding midfielder. Consistency is the most important thing in a professional soccer player, and Christian is exactly that”, mentions Dr. Schulz, Head Coach of Schulz Academy.
