A couple of days after Schulz Academy player Matt Luzunaris was loaned from the MLS’ San Jose Earthquakes, Luzunaris scored a decisive goal in his Orlando City debut against the Rochester Rhinos, which they won 2-1.

On Sunday, Orlando City played against the Bolton Wanderers of the EPL, losing the contest 3-1. It was once again Luzunaris who scored the teams’s lone goal.

"I hope that my abilities will help the team in the upcoming English Premier League games and the four regular season games left," said Luzunaris in a release after he signed with the Lions. "I have played against teams from the EPL, so I also bring in some experience as well."

The Orlando City Lions play against Newcastle United Saturday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m.
