After a tough pre-season with his club, finally the season started for Stefan Jerome’s club sigma Olomouc of the Czech Republic vs. Dukla Prag with a 1-1 tie.
o “ I think I did quite well for my debut. I didn't lose the ball once. I did good things but I still have to do better to get a starting position. The league in the Czech Republic is tough, but I think with my technique I can earn a starting position soon. I just need to continue to be consistent in the practices and show the coaches that I am already on this level” mentioned a relieved Stefan Jerome to his former coach at the Schulz Academy, Josef Schulz, after the game. “Although only playing the last 15 minutes in the game, I felt good and helped the team to earn the point. I worked hard for over a year to be where I am now. For a young player it is difficult to adapt to the physical demands and especially the tactical awareness needed in a first division”, continues Stefan Jerome, who played for the Schulz Academy his youth soccer.

“I know how difficult it is in Europe but you just need to hang in there when they give you an opportunity to stay there. If they keep you, it means they see something in you, and that is exactly what happened to Stefan. Now he needs to show the coach in each practice that he is better than the player who is starting in his position. Stefan has extraordinary talent, and he has 15 years as a professional soccer player ahead of him”, says Josef Schulz, his former coach at the Schulz Academy.
