“Players who have talent and are willing to work hard will get a chance”, says Schulz Academy Head Coach, Dr. Josef Schulz. “Many players need to start either in the second team of bigger clubs or lower leagues and work themselves up. Through our contacts we developed in the last 40 years in Europe we give them the chance, at the end it is on the player’s commitment and work ethic what they make out of these opportunities. In the beginning sometimes it is hard, but as soon they make it to the first team or step up the ladder of clubs after playing in the lower leagues they really can enjoy the comfortable life of being a professional athlete. In addition we make sure they don’t forget the educational part, and all of our players we represent are registered at the local colleges or universities to start or continue their education”, continues Dr. Schulz.
“Right now we are preparing a number of American and international players in our academy for the next transfer window in Europe in January. We are hopeful that many of them will also sign professional contracts after successful tryouts there”, continues Stephan von Lattorff, Manager of the Schulz Academy.
