Schulz U16s Development Academy Southeast Champions!!!
The U16 Boys won the Southeast Division and earned a final 8 spot in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Finals
BOCA RATON, FL (June 30, 2008) - Schulz Academy U16 Boys became the first team to earn a final 8 spot for the U16s in the U.S Soccer Development Academy League. Goals from Reginald Phelps and Sean Hart were enough to give Schulz Academy a 2-1 win over Pennsylvania Classics. The win gave Schulz an insurmountable 14 point lead over the rest of the field with just 4 games left to play. The U.S. Soccer Development Academy Summer Showcase took place in Greensboro North Carolina from June 27-30 and brough together all 126 Development Academy teams. The fact that Schulz Academy was able to qualify for the final 8 out of all these top teams in the U.S. further solidifies their number 5 ranking from Soccer America for the top boys soccer club in America.
Schulz Academy Hands U.S. National Team Their Only Loss in Academy League
Boca Raton (March 30, 2007) – A bit of history was made on Saturday March 28th when Schulz Academy became the first club to hand the U.S. National Team a loss in the Development Academy League play. Two goals by Matias Alvez gave the U16 Schulz Academy team a 2-1 victory over the U16 U.S. National Team. As mentioned, it was the first loss of an U.S. National Team since the start of the Academy League in the fall of 2007.
